DCA Slashes Prices For Locals

Courtney "Goofy Statue @ The Hub"
June 22, 2001

Some great news has occurred for Southern California locals at Disney's California Adventure! Disney has slashed prices by $10 for Southern California residents and is offering free child admission at the new theme park.

From now through September 4, local residents can enter the park for $33, and each eligible adult may bring in one child (aged 3 - 9) free of charge. Some type of identification that proves California residence must be shown at the time of ticket purchase.

Disney has introduced the discounts in honor of "Disney's Electrical Parade," which will be introduced on July 3. The discounts are also in place to stimulate local traffic to the park, which has been significantly light.
