The ever-popular Electrical Parade has been through a whirlwind tour of the United States since its "glowing, glowing, gone" days in Anaheim in November 1996. It left the Main Street Electrical Parade, landed in New York as the Hercules Electrical Parade, laid over in Orlando as the Main Street Electrical Parade, and now returns to Anaheim as Disney's Electrical Parade.

The parades return adds a little twist to its life story, as its new name reflects its new home in Disney's California Adventure. Fanfare has already begun with radio ticket giveaways on many local radio stations. The Disney's California Adventure Today was released nearly a week early advertising for the return of the parade on July 4th.

For those looking for a sneak peak the Parade will run this evening, July 2nd for the Press Preview of the parade. Tomorrow evening, July 3rd, will be the first public soft opening, with a mix in from many local radio station ticket giveaways. The Parade will then make its official debut July 4, 2001.

Crowds may be heavier this week at California Adventure with all of the free tickets handed out to Cast Members and the kids get in free promotion currently running at the park. The crowds will depend on reaction of Guests to the return of the Electrical Parade to Anaheim after its public Glowing Away season and encore month.
