At long last, a write-up with photos of the INTERCOT West meet that took place on October 21! The meet was another great success. There were some old familiar faces, but plenty of new smiles as well!
The meet began with a congregation of INTERCOTees at the Carnation Plaza Gardens. Everyone chatted, shared greetings, and received their awesome nametags (Thanks Pongo!) with their real name, board user name, and Mickey head. Once all had arrived, we took our group photo onstage, which worked out very nicely. Thanks to Janitorial CM Ed for taking some great shots! Unfortunately, there was no time for doing an INTERCOT song and dance performance for the rest of the park Guests.

From there some the troops headed over to ride the favorite classic, Pirates of the Carribbean. The large group took up almost an entire boat, making it a special INTERCOT-exclusive ride. Thanks to Guest Relations Cast Members Kevin and David, we were able to get the complete inside-scoop on one of Walt's favorite attractions.
From Pirates the group headed over to newly madeover Haunted Mansion, where everyone was extremely impressed with the holiday changes. Weaving through the unusually long queue (sorry, I believe I'm the one who said it wouldn't take but ten minutes! ;) ) gave everyone time to chat and get to know each other.
Looks like Jack Skellington even got to those INTERCOTees when decorating for Christmas...
Sadly after this ride the official meet came to an end. However, many INTERCOTees broke into their own groups and enjoyed other attractions throughout the resort together. Thanks to all who came out for this very special event! See you in the Spring!
