Walt Disney Records has a TON of upcoming releases. A digitally remastered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be released. The soundtrack was restored from seven different sources, including the original nitrate master, using the original mono format. The soundtrack features some of the best-known songs in movie musical history, as well as several rare recordings, including a demo track not used in the film and nearly 50 minutes of underscore. If the restoration is anything like the DVD, we are in for a treat! A new Michael Crawford album, Michael Crawford: The Disney Album is set for release. Winnie the Pooh and friends celebrate nearly 40 years of musical memories with the release of The Best of Pooh and Tigger, Too. This compilation includes classics such as "Winnie the Pooh" and "The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers," as well as some contemporary tributes to everyone's favorite bear by Vonda Shepard and Kathie Lee Gifford. The Big Cheese himself takes control of the DJ booth with an energetic collection of dance music. Putting a Disney twist on contemporary favorites, Mickey's Dance Party, is a child's birthday party soundtrack dream come true! The Backstreet Boys, Aaron Carter, Myra, Krystal, Mandy Moore and Jessica Simpson join forces on Radio Disney, Vol. 4 which is sure to deliver one powerful jam after another. And Songs from Disney's House of Mouse captures the musical energy of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck's ala an ultra-hip Toon "nightclub" , a fashionable gathering place for animated characters. Brian Setzer kicks off the album with the show's theme song, "Rockin' at the House of Mouse."
Have a Disney Week!
