Commissioned for what he calls the "dream project" of painting 100 Mickeys, Robison got off to an impressive start by creating 21 mice in his first two weeks of painting. "That was easy," he says. "The next 79 were a bit more challenging and took 16 months to finish." Robison proved himself equal to the task, though, creating a multitude of distinctly different Mickeys while paying homage to the history of the world's most famous mouse.
