Rehabs and Attractions Reopen for Spring Crowds

By Courtney "Goofy Statue @ The Hub"
March 25, 2002

Things are looking slightly up for visitors to the Disneyland Resort, with the reopening this past week of many major attractions that were down for Winter Refurbishment. Pirates of the Caribbean opened to the public, drawing up to two hour waits over the weekend! Space Mountain and the majority of the Fantasyland attractions are open for business to the Spring crowds as well, each looking polished and new from their touch-up changes.

Guests should be aware that Splash Mountain, King Arthur's Carousel, and Sleeping Beauty Castle are still closed in Disneyland Park, with Superstar Limo down for an overhaul in Disney's California Adventure. Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes, Big Thunder Mountain, and "it's a small world" all go down for refirbishment beginning Monday, April 8. For the most up to date hours and closures, please visit Disneyland.com.
