Pirates of the Caribbean

Fastpass is not as necessary on Pirates of the Caribbean, although it will definitely be nice during the hot and crowded summer days at the park. For the most part, it is recommended not to use Fastpass on this attraction and to save it for some of the larger attractions with longer lines and slower waits. Guests will usually find the Pirates line no longer than fifteen or twenty minutes except on extremely crowded days.

Entrance
All of the entrances are very easy to find at this attraction, as they are all located right in the same place. The grand entrance to Pirates is under the bridge in New Orleans Square, right across from the Rivers of America. The Distribution Center is located on the far left hand side inside the queue area. The Standby Entrance is just to the right of the Distribution Center Entrance, while the Fastpass Return line is on the far right hand side. A Cast Member is usually greeting Guests out front to offer assistance.

Distribution Center
The Distribution Center for Pirates is simple yet well themed. It is also very easy to find. Guests enter the Distribution Center on the left side of the Main Entrance by passing under the bridge in New Orleans Square. Separate teal, engraved distribution units are available for use. Guests simply insert that ticket and obtain a Fastpass, then exit back out to the right of the way they entered.

Standby Line
The Standby line for Pirates is very easy to find and usually doesn't involve much waiting. Guests will notice that many just walk right up in line rather than get a Fastpass, and this is usually the right decision as the line is generally short and moves quickly. The Standby entrance is located in the dead center of the Pirates main entrance under the New Orleans Square Bridge, well marked by a Standby wait sign overhead. This line is generally quick and worth waiting in as long as it is not hot and crowded. Guests can use their judgment based on the Standby wait time listed overhead.

Fastpass Return
The Fastpass Return line is located on the far right hand side of the Pirates main entrance. It is well marked with a sign displaying the current Fastpass return time. Fastpass holders simply show their pass to the Cast Member at the entrance and weave up the ramp into the attraction building, straight down along water on the right hand side and to the loading area.
