Grizzly River Run

Not the most but certainly one of the more popular attractions, Grizzly River Run tends to get some fairly long Standby lines on crowded days and thus is a good deal for using Fastpass. Standby lines creep up over 2 hours on especially hot days when this get wet attraction is most popular. During the winter and cooler seasons, Guests will find no need for Fastpass whatsoever if they choose to be brave and ride this attraction.

Entrance
In the heart of Grizzly Peak Recreation Area across from the Grand Californian Hotel lies the entrance to this wild rafting adventure. The Fastpass Return Line is located directly to the right of the Standby entrance, with the Distribution Center sporting bright yellow and blue Distribution Units on the side closest to Condor Flats behind the huge Grizzly Bear holding yellow paddles that greets Guests at the attraction.

Distribution Center
Guests will find the Distribution Center well guarded by a giant Grizzly Bear statue sporting a GRR lifejacket and paddle on the side of River Rapids closest to Condor Flats. Guests enter behind the bear and obtain their Fastpass from one of the bright Distribution Units. A Cast Member should be available nearby for assistance. Guests exit out the same way that they entered.

Standby Line
During warm weather and crowded days at the park, Grizzly River Run tends to get especially long lines. It can be a hot and long two hours for those waiting to get on a cool water ride, so we recommend Guests visiting on warm days get a Fastpass early in the day if they wish to ride this attraction. At other times on cooler or less crowded days the Standby line is only 10-15 minutes and moves fairly quickly, or is even nonexistent on especially chilly days. In this case it is better to save Fastpass for another attraction and simply wait in line. The Standby line is located right at the attraction's main entrance across from the Grand Californian.

Fastpass Return
If Guests have their Fastpass ticket, they can simply return to the Main Entrance of GRR and proceed down the line on the right hand side. A Cast Member should be waiting out front to check Fastpass tickets. Guests make a few sharp turns around the rafting lodge, down the steps and onto the moving loading platform into the rafts.
