It's Tough to be A Bug

This well themed 3-D experience brought over from Florida is sure to become more popular as word gets out about its awesome special effects and storyline. However lines seem to form at the larger attractions such as California Screamin' and Grizzly River Run, and thus lines are not as long over at It's Tough to be a Bug. Fastpass is only a necessity on this attraction during peak operating hours and on especially crowded days. Otherwise it is a high capacity attraction that runs every 10 minutes or so, making Standby lines in the 15-minute range.

Entrance
Located in the heart of Bountiful Valley Farm, the entrances to It's Tough to be a Bug are not hard to find. The Standby entrance is located on one half of the queue while the Fastpass Return line is on the other. The Distribution Center is well marked with Fastpass Return and Standby times on signs overhead. It is to the left of the attraction's main entrance.

Distribution Center
The Distribution Center is well marked and can be found to the left of the attraction's main entrance. The Fastpass Return Times are posted overhead. Guests can enter the Distribution Center on the right side, closest to the standby line entrance. Inside Guests will find the blue and green Distribution Units that resemble Flick from A Bug's Life. Guests obtain their Fastpasses and then exit out the opposite direction.

Standby Line
The Standby Line for this attraction does not tend to be terribly long, and averages a 10-15 minute wait. The ride is a walk-on early in the morning or late at night. Because the show runs every 10 minutes or so, the line is a "stop and go" but when it moves it moves quickly. Because of this most Guests will probably find Fastpass unnecessary unless it is an extremely hot and crowded day. Note that the first half of the line is right in the dead sun, and the nearby farm atmosphere doesn't help. However the second part of the line is safe inside the air-conditioned anthill.

Fastpass Return
The Fastpass Return line is located on the right hand side of the Standby Line, right at the attraction's well-marked Main Entrance. Guests simply show their Fastpass to the Cast Member and head on down the line, where a second Cast Member will collect it at the entrance to the anthill. Once inside Guests pick their door and wait to enter the theater.
