Transportation

Where is The Disneyland Resort?
The Disneyland Resort is located in sunny Southern California, in the city of Anaheim. Anaheim is approximately 27 miles from Downtown Los Angeles. It can be easily accessed from many local freeways. There are also many other things to do and see in the Southern California area including: Knott's Berry Farm, Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, Sea World, Legoland, several water parks, and many other attractions.

Directions

From LAX Airport
Take the Century 105 freeway east, to the 605 south, to the Riverside 91 east, to Golden State Freeway 5 south and exit at Disneyland Drive going south, the entrance to the Mickey and Friends parking structure (parking for the theme parks) will be right there. Guests who wish to visit Downtown Disney should exit on Disneyland Drive, continue past the entrance to the parking structure, and make a right turn on Magic Way. This is also recommended for guests trying to reach one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. Guests trying to reach the theme parks may also exit at Harbor Blvd. south, which will lead directly to the resort.

From John Wayne Orange County Airport
Take the 55 north/east, to the 5-freeway north, and exit at Disney Way, the resort is right there. Guests may also exit at Harbor Blvd. south, which also leads directly to the theme parks.

From Ontario Airport
Take the 10 or the 60, to the 57 south, to Ball Road west (turn right), and travel about 3 miles until Harbor Blvd and turn left, where guests can access the Timon/Simba parking lots about a half mile down on the right hand side. Guests may also continue on Ball Road past Harbor Blvd. and turn left on Disneyland Drive, which leads to the Mickey and Friends parking structure.

From Long Beach Airport
Go East on E. Donald Douglas Drive turning LEFT onto N LAKEWOOD BLVD/CA-19.  Continue for 4 miles, then take the CA-91 E ramp towards RIVERSIDE.  Merge onto CA-91E and Continue for 9 miles, then take the I-5/SANTA ANA FWY exit towards SANTA ANA -- Merge onto I-5 S.  Continue for 3.5 miles, then take the DISNEYLAND DR exit towards BALL RD, follow signs to the Disneyland Resort.

Traffic
Here is the real time traffic information on the local LA freeways. Guests who are live nearby or who are staying in a local hotel should access this information to get an idea of how long it will take to get to the park.

Guests who are planning to travel to the park on non-holiday weekday mornings between 7:00am - 9:00am should expect very heavy traffic. The same goes from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on non-holiday afternoons. On lower traffic weekends, usually Sunday mornings, Cal-Trans likes to work on the freeways, so guests should be prepared for some slowing in these areas as well. Guests in the area who want to find out the local traffic information and road closures can tune in to KNX 1070 (AM Radio) or KFWB 980 (AM Radio). Both of these have traffic updates very often along with the news. Once in the Anaheim Resort area you may want to tune to 1500 AM for Anaheim specific road closures and construction.
