Even though it seems like the Disneyland Resort is constantly changing their operation hours they do follow a loose schedule during the year. For the off season, September to May park hours tend to follow a schedule similar to the following:

• Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 midnight
• Sunday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

For the on season, Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend, and holiday periods, such as Presidents Day weekend, Spring Break, summertime, Thanksgiving week, and from Christmas to New Years, the parks' hours are usually:

• The Holiday day, Weekends and most weekdays, 8 a.m. to Midnight.
• Some weekdays, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

If you are planning your trip and you would like to know the exact park hours for your visit, The Disneyland Resort usually releases hours for about the next three months. It is at this time when the Staff is able to update the park hours. Downtown Disney entertainment schedules are not available until 1-2 weeks before the event(s), so while we try to update them as much possible we highly recommend Guests interested in Downtown Disney call before their visit. We try to call the Disneyland Resort Information Line each week to get updates on the next one to two weeks of resort hours and these tend to be a little more accurate. The following is the list of operating hours from the Disneyland Resort Operating Schedule, which offers park hours and entertainment (without exact show times). The legend tells you what each of the entertainment abbreviation's mean.

The park hours I have listed are fairly accurate, but the Disneyland changes them quite often. So before you travel half way across the world check with the Disneyland Guest Relations (714) 781-7290. Also be sure to ask a Cast Member when you enter what the hours are because they can change on a day to day basis depending on weather and crowd conditions. Also be sure to keep you ears open through out the day, especially if it is a rainy day, to hear if the park hours change, or if there are cancellations in the entertainment schedule. It's not likely that they will change the hours during the day but it can happen.
