History: Sponsored by the famous Mission company known for their delicious tortilla chips and delicacies, this attraction opened with the theme park in February 2001.
Location: East side of Pacific Wharf across from The Boudin Bakery
Description:
This walk through glass-walled tour gives Guests a behind the scenes look at a tortilla factory and gives educational information about the tortilla making process, which dates back to the Mayan Empire. Small 3-D videos give insight to the history of the process, followed by a close look at tortilla makers in action. An educational cooking booth is set up at the end of the tour where a live host teaches guests about some good cooking recipes using tortillas.
