Critter Country took up residence in Disneyland in 1988 and replaced the old Bear Country. It is a shady land (i.e. tree covered) hidden in a back corner of Disneyland featuring Splash Mountain and the Country Bear Jamboree. Critter Country is one of the quieter lands in Disneyland, and usually only is busy with the crowds from Splash Mountain. The Hungry Bear Restaurant is one of the nicest restaurants to eat at in the park, with the its forest surroundings. Overall Critter Country is one of the best lands to relax in and enjoy your time.

Tip:
This is a nice place to relax in because of its shade and lack of very heavy crowds. On hot days it's nice to relax where it is cool and this is a good place. Also if you have just been on Splash Mountain and you are all wet, you will feel very cool and maybe even cold in the shade here.
