Type of Ride: Canoe ride and you have to paddle
Rating: DD, a little fun, but working on an attraction is not always a guests favorite thing to do.
Length: About 10 minutes, depending on how many paddle around the river
Average Wait: 15 minutes
When to Ride:
You'll probably want to do this early morning when the weather is the coolest, because the hot summer days can get even hotter when you're working to paddle around the Rivers of America.
Age Group: Pre-teens on up
Special Restrictions/Considerations:
Handicapped persons can get onto the canoes and, as with everyone, it really isn't a requirement to paddle, although it helps. The Canoes are usually only open during on season periods and do close at dusk.
History:
Location:
The Canoes entrance is hidden away along the river right before you get to the Hungry Bear Restaurant.
Description:
The canoes are the only attraction in the park where guests are forced to work. Each guest is given a paddle and, if you want to move, must paddle. This ends up looking very funny sometimes, with every guest paddling at a different time. The canoes can be an enjoyable attraction if you are willing to put in a little effort.
Reviews:
"I personally think that the canoes deserve a higher rating. I enjoy them because I have to help out...its called "hands on." Also, if it shot, make sure to sit behind a small kid, you no doubt will get wet."

I think that that Canoes are a good exprience. I went with a bunch of choir friends and while rowing we were singing. I think we went on it about 8 times, driving the cast members crazy. But it was tuns of fun. Good family and friends bonding "ride".
