Description:
Every wanted to take a trip on a runaway mine train? Big Thunder Mountain offers a chance to do just that. With Big Thunder you can experience a runaway train that travels through bat caves, by snakes, goats, turtles, and even experience an earthquake in an abandoned mine. If you want to test yourself to see how many times you can go on is a short period of time try it during Fantasmic!. Because Big Thunder is so close to the stage and viewing areas of Fantasmic! very few people ride this attraction during the show. I have been on the ride when there was no line at all. Be warned though if you run or try to cheat by going on the closed side of the line, cast members will make you turn around and start the line over again.
Reviews:
The best way to ride Thunder Mountain is at night when your vision is limited and you can't see where you are going. However, if you ride during the day it is best to sit in the very back seat of the train. While sitting in the back seat, i really get a thrill by looking backwards through the entire ride. It adds so much to the dytime riding experiance. Most cast members will let you wait for the next train to get into the back seat, and its well worth the extra few minutes.
