The rafts to take you to the island are directly down from the Haunted Mansion on the Rivers of America

Description:
These rafts are based on the raft the Huckleberry Fin took on his adventures down the Mi'sipi Riv'r. These provide one way transportation to and from Tom Sawyers Island. The Island provides a great place for the kids to "run around" (running is not allowed on the island) and enjoy themselves. They can explore caves or climb into Fort Wilderness. Definitely a place to take them in the later afternoon when they are becoming antsy from waiting in lines all day.

This attraction closes a little before dusk in preparation for Fantasmic! Even if there is no showing of Fantasmic! this attraction will close because of safety issues on Tom Sawyers island after dark.
